Groundworker 

We are a thriving Groundwork and Civil Engineering company based in Leighton Buzzard, covering areas in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, we are looking for an experienced Groundworkers to join our busy team. 

Groundworker applicants must have the following: 

• Full valid driving licence 
• UTR Number 
• Have a minimum of 2 years experience. 
• Valid CSCS card 
• Relevant experience, operating Excavators, Dumpers, Rollers and other equipment. Along with the necessary tickets (CPCS/ NPORS) 
• Experience to fulfil the duties required 
• NRSWA accreditation would be preferable 
• Understanding of Health & Safety 
• Able to work independently and as part of a team whilst carrying out instructions. 

On-site Groundworker duties include, but are not limited to: 

• All external works 
• Laying Paving Slabs/ Block Paving 
• Kerb laying (Streetworks ticket required) 
• Laying of Ducting/ Trenching 
• Drainage – Foul/ Storm 
• Foundations, Concrete Slabs, RC Works and Block & Beam Floor 
• Road Forming 
• Experience with all plant – Excavators, Dumpers, Rollers etc 
• Laying Tarmac 

To be successful for this Groundworker role you will ideally: 

• Be approachable, enthusiastic and hard working 
• Have excellent attention detail 
• Demonstrate commitment to exceeding deadlines 

Working within a 50-mile radius of Leighton Buzzard, working hours are Monday to Friday, with the occasional weekend work as and when required.

Pay is dependent on experience. 

PPE provided: Hard Hat, Hi-Viz, Goggles and Ear Defenders.
